Since 2010, we have run tpa.fr, the largest web portal dedicated to private theater in France, on behalf of ASTP, the French Association of Private Theaters. Building an AI agent for its audience was a demanding brief: understand visitors’ questions, link them to the right datasets (plays, schedules, artists, news), filter upcoming shows and handle complex programming patterns. A tough challenge, and one we were glad to take on.
tpa.fr is the go-to reference for theater fans in France. Recently expanded from Paris to a nationwide scope, it promotes shows from private and independent production companies.
Every answer is grounded in indexed datasets. Admins can preview any conversation scenario in a dedicated playground, with full insight into the metadata behind each response.
Speed of data retrieval was the real challenge. Rather than simply scraping web content, we index data at the application level. Show details, schedules, cast lists and news archives each require their own intake and interpretation model.
